The ZOTAC GAMING GeForce RTX 2080 Blower Model
Our ZOTAC GAMING GeForce RTX 2080 Blower model is our first introduction into the new ZOTAC GAMING RTX 20-Series product lineup. Our RTX 2080 Blower is comparable to the old ZOTAC GeForce GTX 1080 Founders Edition card as both cards possess one fan and are less feature-rich than their beefier siblings, but pack a punch nonetheless. The GTX 1080 Founders Edition is powered by NVIDIA Pascal™, which was the most game-changing GPU architecture available at the time--not any more. The ZOTAC GAMING GeForce RTX 2080 Blower is packing the new NVIDIA Turing architecture, providing gamers with their first realtime ray-tracing capable GPU. The new card is also a step-up in nearly every aspect. From 2560 CUDA cores to 2944, memory improvements, and an added USB Type-C, the ZOTAC GAMING GeForce RTX 2080 Blower steals the spotlight from it’s old counterpart. The size of both cards is practically the same to boast, the RTX 2080 Blower measuring a nearly identical 268mm x 113mm versus 266.7mm x 111.15mm.

The next step up from the ZOTAC GAMING GeForce RTX 2080 Blower model is the ZOTAC GAMING GeForce RTX 2080 AMP. With nearly 400 cores more than our 1080 AMP! model, this performance powerhouse will overshadow your old card. Memory clock speeds have increased from 10GHz to now being capable of 14.0 Gbps (video memory upgraded from GDDR5 to GDDR6) and with new SLI NVLINK support, your gaming experience will hit extreme performance when coupled with another RTX 2080 AMP.
We've even changed how you power your card, swapping from Dual 8-pin on our 1080 AMP! to 6-pin and 8-pin connector on the 2080 AMP. Like the rest of our RTX 20-Series, we've also upped our cooling game with three 90mm, fully redesigned fans, featuring individual fan control (Active Fan Control), which can be controlled via the soon to be updated, FireStorm application.

To power this beast of a card, you might need to upgrade your power supply. Our 1080 AMP consumed 230W to keep going, so we recommended a 500W PSU for use in the entire system. For the 2080 AMP, we're recommending you have at least 650 watts of power on hand, for your entire system. A slight increase in power demand, but for the new technology and performance, it’s needed and well worth it.

The ZOTAC GAMING GeForce RTX 2080 Ti AMP Model
As our cards get more powerful, the gap between the previous generation widens. If you currently own our more powerful, flagship ZOTAC GeForce GTX 1080 Ti AMP! and are looking to upgrade, the ZOTAC GAMING GeForce RTX 2080 Ti AMP! is an evolution even further beyond the RTX 2080 AMP variant. The 2080 Ti AMP has nearly 800 more CUDA cores than the 1080 Ti AMP! And provides upgraded memory (GDDR6), memory clock speed, and of course, USB Type-C. More importantly, we’ve upped our cooling game. Instead of 2 x 100mm fans, the new 2080 Ti AMP comes with three 90mm fans, all powered by individual fan control technology known as Active Fan Control (AFC, just like the RTX 2080 AMP) and with our sleek new fan design that improves airflow (also like the RTX 2080 AMP). With all this new power, it’s only going to cost you 50 watts more, with a recommended power supply of 650W compared to the 1080 Ti’s recommended 600W.
