The card sailed through 3DMark Vantage with a score of 11016, that’s 1278 points more than what the HD 4890 could achieve. But when you compare the overall scores of game benchmarks both cards were almost neck and neck with the GTX 275 leading the way throughout the tests.

The GTX 275 was not built to break any records but was solely built to take on the ATI’s HD 4890 which it did manage.

"Under a 1920 x 1200 resolution, game play continues to move pretty smoothly through most if not all benchmarks thrown at it. The same is results are achieved even with 4X AF and 16X AA enabled in the drivers and video games. The GPU does a pretty efficient job of producing 40+ frame per second averages throughout the volley of benchmarks. This is probably the card’s sweet spot when it comes to extreme gaming. Fan noise is almost non-existent and maintains a relatively quiet (19db) during maximum use. This is partially due to the lower heat produced by the new 55nm core."

When we compare the ATI HD4890 and GeForce GTX 275, we can easily say that both cards achieves nearly the same performance values but after adding the PhysX Support Nvidia is getting one step beyond from ATI.

The Zotac GTX275 fills the gap between the GTX260 and the GTX285. Unlike the HD4890, which is just a tweaked version of the HD4870, the GTX275 is a mix and match of two cards placed at a very attractive price point.

The GRID game bundle is winning our inclination firstly. ZOTAC gains 10 points for the box content. When we look at the test results ATI Radeon HD 4890 and ZOTAC GTX 275 is going nip and tuck but after checking the overall performance results ZOTAC GTX 275 wins the race and the lead in its segment

We need to consider all marketing activities from partners. ATI is placing Nvidia GTX 275 below of Radeon HD 4890 and over Radeon HD 4870 but if you look at the tests, it is absolutely wrong. GeForce GTX 275 has more powerful than Radeon HD 4890 within the current drivers
