Free Media Center OS

XBMC Live is a free standalone Linux-based distribution that launches XBMC upon boot and instantly transforms your ZBOX mini-PC into the ultimate entertain hub. XBMC Live contains all the software necessary to get your NVIDIA® ION™-based ZOTAC ZBOX mini-PC up and running to quickly and easily begin viewing high-definition video content. Simply download it, copy it to your choice of media – CD, SD card or flash drive - and instantly boot into XBMC Media Center OS and run it directly from your media – you can optionally install it onto the internal ZBOX hard drive as well.

Users with AMD APU-based ZOTAC ZBOX mini-PCs can opt for OpenELEC – a free XBMC-based distribution catered towards media appliances. OpenELEC is built from the ground up to deliver a set-top box-like experience and easily installs on ZOTAC ZBOX mini-PCs and supports hardware-accelerated high-definition video playback with AMD APUs such as the E-350 APU with Discrete-Class AMD Radeon™ HD 6310 graphics.
