ZOTAC in Action - June 2018

2018.07.04 4:00 AM

COMPUTEX 2018, Taipei

The curtain came down on COMPUTEX, one of the largest annual computer shows in the world, but what left behind were the excitment for all the next big things going to happen in the near future. Once again we were proud to be a part of this momentous event this year to demonstrate our gamer-centric products and ideas. Here's a brief recap of what we showcased:

First thing you would notice at the ZOTAC booth was the mega-size ZOTAC GeForce GTX 1080 Ti AMP EXTREME. Not only it's HUGE, its fans' spinning, it also featured the next-gen SPECTRA system with ARGB lighting, allowing visitors to play with its color and all kinds of customizable effects.

And our tiny ZBOX PI335-GK single-handedly controlled the big screen, the monitor and even the MEGA graphics card at the same time. What a silent beast!

We had a unique display of graphics cards highlighting the technology and innovation created throughout the past decade so you could get an exclusive peek at designs, features, technologies, and innovations of past, present, and future.

Introducing the MEK MINI and MEK ULTRA, the new desktop line-up from ZOTAC GAMING. MEK MINI has less weight and size, but more gaming performance while MEK ULTRA strives for the ultimate performance. Both new models hogged the limelight and MEK Mini even earned its first recognition, WCCFTECH's Best of COMPUTEX 2018 award!

We developed this industrial design for extreme cooling performance in partnership with BARROW, and it is the smallest and probably best-looking full immersion system we've ever had. Look, our GeForce GTX chilled out all day long inside it.

Everyone was in love with our ZOTAC VR GO 2.0. It is more powerful with an 8th generation Core i7 processor and has a smaller, lighter chassis with more breathability than the first model. The addition of ARGB lighting also makes it glow glamour while gaming. Not to mention it had won the COMPUTEX d&i Award and was chosen by GadgetMatch as one of the best innovations in COMPUTEX 2018.

Our ZBOX CI660 nano, the first Mini PC to be equipped with an 8th Gen Intel Core i7 processor with an all-new honeycomb chassis design, also took home the COMPUTEX d&i Award. The silent powerhouse will soon roll out, and that's the thing you can look forward to in the coming months.

We also brought the eSports tournament, ZOTAC CUP MASTERS CS:GO 2018 Asia Regional Finals, live on stage that spanned the length of COMPUTEX. After 5 days of fierce competition, MVP PK from Korea won the crown as the regional champion and will advance to the Grand Finals at E-Sports and Music Festival Hong Kong in August.

An auction for charity also took place after the closing ceremony which let all attendees to bid for a complete ZOTAC CUP MASTERS CS:GO 2018 Official Gaming system signed by the winning team, MVP PK. All the proceeds from the auction went to support Bornanew Youth Caring Association, an organization taking care of teenagers who are with higher risk to criminal conducts in Taiwan. There's no better way to end the whole event by making the good to the community.
