GUIDE TO UPDATE VBIOS FOR 5060 Ti USERS

This guide is for users of the ZOTAC GAMING GeForce RTX 5060 Ti Series (16GB/8GB) who have encountered a blank screen after rebooting the PC.
Root Cause: Use of a legacy motherboard.
Solution: Apply a GPU VBIOS update.
The following should only be attempted if your aforementioned graphics card model is currently experiencing this issue. If not, there is no need to update the VBIOS of your graphics card.
If you are currently experiencing a blank screen during reboot, please try one of the following workarounds in order to get a video output to run the tool:
- Ensure you are using the latest SBIOS from your motherboard vendor
- Ensure you are in UEFI boot mode and not Legacy/CSM
- Boot using an alternate graphics source (secondary card or integrated graphics) or alternative system if available
- Alternatively, boot into Windows safe mode.
Download the update tool
There are 2 ways to download our VBIOS update tool:
METHOD 1
Product Page
Navigate to the product page of the ZOTAC GAMING GeForce RTX 5060 Ti series GPU that you have.
- On the product page, click on the DOWNLOADS tab as highlighted.
- Select BIOS on the FILE TYPE drop down field and click on the VIEW RESULTS button
- Find the VBIOS update tool and click on DOWNLOAD
METHOD 2
DOWNLOAD CENTER
Navigate to the DOWNLOAD CENTER under the support page of zotac.com.
- Select GRAPHICS CARDS
- Select BIOS on the FILE TYPE drop down field
- Select the category of your graphics card in the SERIES drop down field
- Select the SKU/Product Model you have and click on the VIEW RESULTS button
- Find the VBIOS update tool and click on DOWNLOAD
Make sure to download the correct version for your 5060 Ti model (i.e. 16GB or 8GB.)
FLASHING THE VBIOS ON YOUR 5060 Ti Series GPU
Before you begin:
- Close all active programs and ensure that there are no Windows updates pending.
- Copy the file containing the update to the Windows desktop or to your preferred location.
- Extract the file contents in the compressed file.
- Double click the downloaded executable (.exe) file to begin.
- Follow the on-screen instruction to start the updating process.
- During the process, do not click on any windows that may appear, or perform other actions.
- After completing, the window will automatically close.
- Reboot your PC to complete the update.
