ZOTAC GAMING ZONE - How to toggle HDR for the ZONE's display?

To turn HDR on on your ZOTAC GAMING ZONE, go to System > Display Settings > HDR and toggle it from there while plugged into a power source.

By Default, the HDR Mode on the ZONE only works when it is plugged into a power source. There may be a toggle to also enable HDR while the device is running on battery; but please note that this setting may affect the battery life of the device.

When HDR is turned on, the desktop and most SDR content may have an unusually washed-out apperance. This is due to HDR having different contrast and brightness parameters than SDR. 

To properly set the screen to a proper brightness & contrast, users should:

1. Open AMD Software

2. Click on the "Settings" cog wheel icon on the upper right of the software interface

3. Select "Display"

4. Then, enable "custom color." The main settings to change here are the "Brightness" and "Contrast" Sliders.

After adjustment, use the windows HDR calibration program to calibrate the brightnes of the display. This program can be accessed in "Display settings" under HDR; or be downloaded in the Windows Store.
