ZOTAC GAMING ZONE - How do I change the power button's behaviour from "sleep" to another action, such as "hibernate" or "shut down"?


To change the default power button behaviour, follow these steps:

1. On the taskbar, select the "Search" icon. Enter "Control Panel" into the search field and select the icon.

2. Search for "Power Options" in the Control Panel. Select "Change what the power buttons do" from the search results.

3. Under Power and sleep buttons and lid settings, set the Power button action to your preferred action. Click or tap OK. 

Keep in mind that changing power button behaviours may effect battery life, thermals and overall system stability.
