How to activate Wake-On-LAN (WOL) on a motherboard ?

Some ZOTAC motherboards provide selection for enabling WOL in the CMOS Setup. If this selection is not available in CMOS Setup, then it is enabled by default. Other requirements must be met for proper WOL functionality : CMOS Deep Sleep is disabled, Network device driver is properly installed in the Operating System, Previous shut-down was a normal shut-down, System Power was stable since the last shut-down.
